Acts 2:36 says, “Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made the same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.”
Some have pointed to this verse as evidence that Jesus was created by God the Father. Actually, the King James Version does a good job explaining that Jesus was made both Lord and Christ by God the Father. It has nothing to do with Jesus being created by God. In fact, the Bible is clear that Jesus has always been God (John 1:1, 14) and is the Creator of “all things.” John 1:3 says not even one thing has been created without Jesus. If that’s the case, then how could Jesus have created himself?
