Doctrine and Covenants (D&C). One of the four Standard Works. A collection of divine revelations mostly revealed to Joseph Smith. The majority of contemporary LDS doctrine is recorded here. Printed in 1835, the D&C is primarily a collection of supposed revelations given to Joseph Smith by God. Parts of the D&C were printed in 1833 under the title Book of Commandments.
