Joseph Fielding Smith (1876-1972). The tenth president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Smith is the son of sixth president Joseph F. Smith and the great-grandson of Hyrum Smith, Joseph Smith’s brother. He was considered the top theologian of his day, penning a three-volume set titled Doctrines of Salvation. In 2014, Mormons across the world studied his teaching twice a month in the manual Teachings of Presidents of the Church: Joseph Fielding Smith. Smith is buried at the Salt Lake cemetery.
